How to Access All Your Previously Purchased TV Shows on iPad

User Greengiant recently sent us the question:
I know how to put movies on iPad, and I have software that does a great job with movies, but I want to know how to get the TV shows to go to the television show menu, and access all my previously purchased TV shows on my ipad, and within that I would like to chose which episode to watch.

Well, if you live in the US, you’re in luck because, Apple recently posted a new iTunes feature, this time reminding customers that they can access their previously purchased TV shows with all their devices, thanks to recent advancements to iTunes in the Cloud. And here’s how to re-download or access your purchased iTunes TV shows to iPad(other iDevice), Mac or Windows:

On your computer, click on the Purchased link in the Quick Links section of the iTunes Store, and then click on the new TV Shows header. You can view your entire purchase history, or just what’s not currently on your computer. On iPad use the Purchased tab on the lower right in iTunes and then the View button on the upper left and choose TV Shows to browse your library. As with the iPhone and iPod touch, use the cloud download buttons to download what you want.On iPhone and iPod touch, use the Purchased button in iTunes and tap TV shows for a list of your purchases. Tap “All TV Episodes” to navigate through your library by episode and show, and use the cloud download buttons to download what you want.

Note: iTunes in the Cloud is available in beta, and requires iOS 4.3.3 on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM model), iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation), iPad, or iPad 2, or a Mac or PC with iTunes 10.4 or later. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore. Music and TV show features are available only in the U.S.

Now, using Cloud, every TV shows, song, app, or book purchase you’ve made at iTunes is stored in your iTunes account and is available for redownload onto iPad and other iDevices.
