How to Convert and Rip DVD to The New iPad or New Apple TV


The new iPad and new Apple TV are all with great 1080p HD watching experience. But you can’t watch your beloved DVDs on them. It is impossible because iPad 3 and Apple TV all don’t have a DVD drive, so the solution is to rip and convert DVD to the compatible video format. The following tutorial is going to show you how to rip and convert DVD to new iPad and Apple TV compatible video/audio files on Windows and put DVD movies onto Apple’s new iPad or Apple TV.

Step 1: Load DVD file

Click “Load DVD” button or use the “File” menu, then you can load the DVD you want to convert. Both ways supply four ways to load DVD files:
1. Load from DVD Rom: All the DVD files from both DVD Rom and daemon tool will be automatically detected and recognized by the program;
2. Load DVD folder (data DVD): Sometimes you may store the DVD folder in your hard drive. You can load it by clicking the “load DVD folders” button;
3. Load ISO image files: You can amount your ISO files in the daemon tools and then load the DVD movie from the virtual DVD drive;
4. Load IFO Files: Click to import your DVD movie by loading IFO files.

Step 2: Set output profile

Click “Profile”, and choose “iPad” or “Apple TV” in Apple list. You can also click “Settings”, to customize the resolution, frame rate, Bit rate, etc.
Tips: If you want to make your converted video more personalized, choose to edit your DVD before converting DVD. Click “Edit” menu, and then you can crop or trim your DVD, set brightness and contrast, and add customized watermark.

Step 3: Start conversion

Click “Start” to start converting DVD video. Click “Find Target” to find out where your converted iPad or Apple TV video is. And then you can sync the converted movies to your devices via iTunes. Enjoy.
