Using the iPad management software one can organize and edit iPad media files, edit file information, and preview DVDs and other forms of video with a simple to use interface.

Our Review of Xilisoft iPad Magic

The Xilisoft iPad Magic is billed as a 3-in-1 device management app: iPad Video Converter(DVD and video to iPad) + iPad Transfer + iPad Manager. Xilisoft iPad Magic lets you rip DVD and video from your iPad to your PC, copy files from iPad to iTunes, and transfer files from your PC to your iPad. The software even lets you convert non-iPad file formats on the fly, before transferring them to your device.

Thanks to a clear, well-designed interface, Xilisoft iPad Magic makes it easy to manage files on your iPad or iPhone. The contents of your Apple device are displayed in the main window (sectioned into audio, video, podcasts and photo). There are three large buttons underneath to add files to your iPad from your PC, export files from your device to the PC and for exporting to iTunes. Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop multimedia to and from Xilisoft iPad Magic. The app even supports batch transfers.

Ripping a DVD to your iPad/iPhone is very easy with Xilisoft iPad Magic. Just load the disk, hit the icon and the movie will be transferred to your device, or to iTunes, in the correct iPad format. In fact, any (well, almost any) video or audio that you transfer using Xilisoft iPad Magic will automatically be converted to the correct format. And quickly, at that. The program comes with a a neat preview window so you can see the video as its transferring.

App transfer is nice new feature improved in recent update. Not surprisingly you could transfer your apps more conveniently between computer and iPad/iPhone/iPod. App documents management is a plus point in this function. Check and manage the app documents by Xilisoft iPad Magic after or before transferring apps.

Another feature is about playlist management. It is hard for iTunes to snyc changes for the playlist which is operated or created on the device. However, iPad Magic is easy to get the updated playlist with any changes on PC or Mac the same with the playlist on their devices, no matter how the playlist created.

On the negative side, I found the preview display is a little small, but that’s not why you own this baby. Putting these glitches aside, Xilisoft iPad Magic makes for a useful way to move music and video between your iPad and your PC. I can simply drag and drop songs and movies between my iPad and PC. Better than iTunes!. Through all the conversions we did, we were always pleased with the final output – great color, full sound, flawless digital conversion. Your conversions will always look fantastic as long as you start with a good source.

Overall, the Xilisoft iPad Magic is a top-notch choice to transfer, backup and manage iPad/iPod/iPhone.
