YouTube Capture Comes to iPad and iPad Mini

We known the YouTube Capture which released last December made it easy to capture, lightly edit, and upload videos from your iPhone or iPod Touch. Now, with recent update, YouTube Capture is universal, letting videographers upload videos straight from their iPad and iPad Mini tablet.

After installing the app, you’ll need to sign in to your YouTube account, allow the app to access your Camera Roll.  After this initial setup process, there is a fourth setting you might want to enable: rotate to begin recording. With it turned on, you don’t need to tap the record button to start recording: simply launch the app and rotate it into landscape mode to start recording. While in settings, you can also choose from two upload quality settings: 360p or 720p.

If your video needs a little sprucing up, the app has color correction and stabilization options built in. You can also trim up a particular clip, or add a music track to your finished product.

Finished videos can be uploaded to YouTube as either a private or public video. If you want to really go public, those videos can also be instantly shared to Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

YouTube Capture for iPad is available now FREE from the App Store. Do you take video with your iPad? Is the arrival of YouTube Capture for iPad good news? Let us know!
