We know that there is nothing better than seeing the products that you’ve been eyeing for a while go on sale. As Cyber Monday is here, it is time to finally hop onto the best deals available for your iPad and other iPad Accessories; especially when we consider that top-notch Apple products rarely ever go on sale and show a drop in prices.

We’ve filtered a list of some of the best deals available for your iPad this Cyber Monday to help you get the best steal. All of these deals are available on Amazon, so you do not have to worry about visiting shady-looking websites to avail of these offers. Just sit back and enjoy the offers available on the trusted service of Amazon.

Offers on iPads

iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2021(128GB, WiFi)

This is at the top of our list because not only is it the latest iPad Pro Apple has given us, but also because it has dropped by $100, from $1,099 to $999, which is also the lowest price it has hit so far. If you’ve been thinking of buying the iPad for a while, this might be the deal for you.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2021(128GB, WiFi, Cellular)

This iPad model is pretty much similar to the previous one but with cellular storage. Like the previous offer, you can save up to $100 on your purchase, but the cost of the item would be a little more expensive.

iPad Pro 11-inch 2021 (128GB, WiFi)

This iPad is mostly known for its outstanding performance and a Liquid Retina Display, and it is currently one of the most popular iPad buys. There has been a drop in price of $50 from $799 to $749 owing to Cyber Monday. If you’ve been thinking of buying this one for a while, now might be the best time to do so.

iPad Pro 11-inch 2021 (128GB, WiFi, Cellular)

Because this iPad supports Cellular Service, it is also a little costly as compared to the one above, but it has the same drop in price still, that is, save $50. Considering how powerful a tool the iPad Pro can be, you should definitely consider buying it if you’re looking for an iPad.

iPad Air 2020 (64GB, WiFi)

There has been a slash of $30 in the price of this iPad. Yes, it may not be a lot, but it is also the most the price has dropped recently, so there’s a fair chance the stock will run out soon as well.

iPad Air 2020 (64GB, WiFi, cellular)

You can choose this variation of iPad Air and save up to $95 instead, but even so, it is noticeable that the product is still quite expensive.

Apple iPad Mini

This item makes it to the list because it is one of the cheapest options available out there in case you want to buy an iPad, even without the Cyber Monday Sale! There isn’t any cut in the price of this item as of now, but in time the price may dip after all.

Offers on iPad Accessories

Apple Pencil 1

The price of the Apple Pencil has dropped from $99.99 to $79.99. While the meager savings of $20 might not seem a lot, it is notably the most the price of this item has dropped in the recent past. Considering how much of an improvement this Pencil can bring to your iPad experience, we say this is a decent deal.

Apple Pencil 2

The price of Apple Pencil 2 has also seen a dip, and you save $30 as the price drops from $129 to $99. The Apple Pencils, in general, can change the way you use your iPad since they can help you immensely with drawing, sketching, or even note-taking. You can create hand-written material digitally, which makes them a very powerful tool.

Apple Smart Folio

This device just further adds to make your iPad smarter. Not only does it protect your iPad, but it also wakes and closes it depending upon whether it is opened or closed. Owing to Cyber Monday, you would find it on sale with a drop in price ranging from $5-$10 from its original price of around $80.

Apple Magic Keyboard for 12.9-inch iPad Pro

Want to spice up your tab usage by using it as a mini-computer? Apple Magic Keyboard will help you through that. The price has also started to dip with an all-time low of $199, giving us almost $150 off the original price. It’s highly recommended that you check this one out if it fits your needs.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch Smart Keyboard Folio

You can get this Smart Keyboard Folio for $189 with a $20 discount. Yes, it is not much, but it is still something, and who knows if the price drops a little more in the upcoming days? The best part about this is that it works as a case and as a keyboard. When you fold it close, it protects your iPad, and when you fold it open, you can use it as a mini-keyboard. This versatile function makes it a fairly decent add-on to your iPad that you can try out.

ZAGG iPad Cases

If you’ve ever dropped your phone or tablet with or without a cover, you know the difference a right case can make to your device in such a situation. You can find ZAGG iPad cases starting as low as $19 on Amazon right now. Yes, it sounds much like a steal, so you need to make the most of it.

AirPods

Air Pods definitely do not need an introduction, especially after being so renowned in pop culture. You can connect them to your iPad and use them for whatever purpose fits you the best-from calling out to Siri anytime to just jamming to music while you do your chores. Their prices are no exception to the rule and have started to drop for Cyber Monday. You can find Second Generation AirPods for as low as $99.99 and AirPods 3 at $149.99.

AirPods Pro

AirPods Pro is known to enhance the features of the base model of AirPods. From active noise cancellation to optimization of battery charging, AirPods Pro is a leap from AirPods. You can get them for an all-time-low price at Amazon of $159.99. You can also try AirPods Max for $429, which is already $120 off its original price.

Magic Mouse

In case you’re looking to optimize your iPad a little to work more like a computer, why not pair up the Magic Keyboard with a Magic Mouse as well? Not only is using a Magic Mouse more convenient on a bigger screen, but it will also help you navigate better. While there aren’t any big offers yet, their prices start around $65, saving you somewhere around $5-$10.

Apple Watch SE (GPS 40mm)

The best Cyber Monday Apple Watch deal that we’ve spotted so far. The Apple Watch SE is on sale for just $219. This is a $60 discount, and discounts on Apple Watches are rare due to stock issues. So, if you want the perfect portable companion to your iPad and iPhone, then getting the discounted Apple Watch SE is a great option.

Final words

Since the iPad and its accessories are one of the most sought-after items, the deals might run out quickly, because after all, it’s Cyber Monday. Many deals are only valid till the stock lasts, so hopefully, this list saves you some time to make your purchase. Also, note that your country would also play a role in the validity of these offers.

One last thing to remember is that the prices may fluctuate depending on when you shop for the items. We hope that our list was able to give you clarity in finding the right offer to make the most of Cyber Monday Sales. Happy Shopping!

Every year when September comes around, Apple fans worldwide unite in anticipation of what the iconic tech brand will unveil. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the release of the iPhone 13 went on like clockwork, with record pre-booking in newly penetrated markets such as India.

However, it isn’t just the release of new devices that has Apple users all riled up since a new iPhone launch also means the next iteration of iOS and iPadOS. We’ve already discussed everything there to love about iPadOS 15, so do take a look at that post as well.

Read More: iPadOS 15 – New Features, Supported Devices, and More

One such anticipated feature of the iOS15 / iPadOS 15 is the firmware update for Apple AirPods Pro, resulting in a brand-new feature. First announced back in June, the firmware update for AirPods Pro brings the “Conversation Boost” feature, which is designed to be an enhancement feature for people who are hard of hearing.

The release of firmware version 4A400 marks the inclusion of Conversation Boost, which hopes to give people with mild hearing disabilities a better way to communicate and connect. It is being rolled out as a bundled feature for AirPods Pro users with the same update, making it even easier to find your AirPods if you ever lose them.

How does Conversation Boost work?

By the basic design of the AirPods Pro, it supports active noise cancellation, along with a nifty Transparency Mode that lets you stay aware of your surroundings even while wearing the earbuds. Apple has further polished this feature in allowing people with hearing disabilities to make the most out of the Transparency Mode.

Offered as a “Custom Transparency Mode”, the Conversation Boost accessibility feature isolates the background noise and other voices with the beam-forming microphones. Since hearing disabilities can vary widely, you can easily access sliders to modify the transparency, amplification, and tone of the sounds you hear.

How to enable Conversation Boost on AirPods Pro?

Before you go on your merry way to enabling the Conversation Boost feature on your AirPods Pro, you need to make sure it is available for you. The feature is a part of the 4A400 firmware update, so you need to install it first. There isn’t a way to update the firmware of your AirPods Pro manually, so you will have to wait it out and see when the update reaches you.

However, you can make your way into the settings and find out what firmware version the AirPods Pro is on:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad to which the AirPods Pro is paired.
  2. Navigate to General – About and tap on the AirPods Pro paired with your device.
  3. Scroll down to find the Firmware Version of the earbuds to confirm if it is the latest.

Once you have confirmed that the latest firmware version for your AirPods is installed, go ahead and enable the feature.

  1. Head back to the Settings app and open the Accessibility menu.
  2. Scroll down to find Hearing, and then navigate to the Audio / Visual menu.
  3. Enable Headphone Accommodations along with Transparency Mode option.
  4. Finally, please scroll down to find the newly-added Conversation Boost and enable it.

Note: You will only be able to see the option when the AirPods Pro is actively paired with the iPhone or iPad.

How to use Conversation Boost

Apple has buried this feature deep into the Accessibility menu, and you probably won’t need to access it again and again once you’ve finetuned it. However, in the beginning, when you need to open Conversation Boost over and over again to balance the Transparency Mode to your personal liking, it would be ideal to have the feature available right away from the Control Center. Here’s how you can start off by adding Conversation Boost to the Control Center window:

  1. Head to the Settings app.
  2. Open the Control Center menu.
  3. Press the + button right next to Hearing to add it.

Once you have Conversation Boost added to the Control Center, here’s how you can start using it:

  1. Connect your AirPods Pro to the iPhone or iPad.
  2. Open the Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Press and hold the Volume Slider to open the settings for AirPods Pro.
  4. You should be able to see the Conversation Boost option enabled.
  5. Here’s you can adjust the Amplification, Balance, and Tone of the audio based on your hearing profile.
  6. To further improve the hearing audio quality, you can move around the Ambient Noise Reduction slider.

To give you more detail on these settings:

Amplification – Amplifies the sound picked by the microphone on your AirPods Pro. This is usually the first set to finetune for older people or those who are hard of hearing.

Transparency Balance – Depending on your hearing profile, you can set it to left (L), or set it to the right (R) or, just leave it in the center for a neutral audio profile.

Tone – This allows you to set the overall sound feeling between Darker and Brighter profiles.

Ambient Noise Reduction – Control the intensity of noise cancelation that the AirPods Pro allows.

Apple has highlighted that Conversation Boost isn’t designed just for people who are a bit hard of hearing, but for general users too. If you are one of those people who wants to listen clearly to the person in front of them, without having to take the AirPods Pro out of your ear every time, Conversation Boost could be your new favorite thing.

FAQs

Can I enable Conversation Boost on the original AirPods?

No, you can’t use the Conversation Boost on the AirPods since it is an exclusive feature of the AirPods Pro. The feature uses the beam-forming microphones on the AirPods Pro to isolate voices, and since this hardware is not available on the original AirPods, there is no way to enable it.

How do I update the AirPods Pro firmware to the latest one?

Since AirPods and AirPods Pro firmware is updated OTA (over the air), you don’t have a way to manually update it. The automatic update happens through the device you connect the AirPods to, so make sure that the iPhone or iPad has an active internet connection to receive the firmware update.

What’s the difference between Conversation Boost and Live Listen?

Conversation Boost allows you to use the microphones on the AirPods Pro to isolate and direct the voice of the person you are listening to. However, Live Listen lets you enable the microphone of the iPhone or iPad while the AirPods are connected, which then helps you to listen in on a conversation even in a noisy environment.

Final words

Apple has put in plenty of thought process into creating the Conversation Boost feature for the AirPods Pro, and it isn’t just for those who are weak of hearing. Although Apple has not explicitly mentioned anything about it, the added workload on the microphones of the AirPods Pro would generally mean it draws more power too. Hence, it would directly affect the amount of playback time you get out of each entire charge cycle.
